Ben is an eleven year old Lab mix. After suffering a ruptured disk from a fall and complications from steroid treatments Ben almost died.

After several days in the hospital Ben came home to begin a very long rehabilitation. He was very weak and could not stand or walk.

Our Vet introduced me to Bill and he explained swim therapy to me. Ben needed to get a bit stronger before we could start but within a week Bill determined he could start to work with him. Within the next few weeks, by swimming twice a week, and Bill's expertise Ben is up and walking on his own.

 

No one was certain that this would happen, but it did. Ben loves to swim now and loves Bill as well.

 

This therapy has worked wonders for us and we didn't even know it existed. Ben was happy before his accident and he is happy again.
